When it comes to fun activities to do on a hot summer day, there’s nothing better than a day at the water park. If you live in or are visiting Florida, I highly recommend heading to Universal’s Volcano Bay for a perfect afternoon to beat the
scorching sun. With dozens of different rides to choose from, here are the top 3 of my favorites at the park.
Krakatau Aqua Coaster
Even though this is a water park, you can still get the theme park thrills from the Krakatau Aqua Coaster. This high-powered water ride takes you into the dark twists and turns through the volcano with countless plunges and drops. When I went this weekend, the wait was hours long, so make sure you get scanned in as soon as possible when you enter the park.
Maku Puihi Raft Rides
When we get to theme parks, we all feel anxious and nervous to figure out which ride to go on first especially when it’s early in the morning. No other ride to wake you and your friends up then the Maku and Puihi raft rides. Whether you want to do a casual ride or a more intense experience, this ride is fun for any age to enjoy.
Ko’okiri Body Plunge
This is probably the scariest ride that I’ve ever been on, and it took my friends to peer pressure me like crazy for me to do it. The Ko’okiri Body Plunge is a trap door water slide that drops you 125 feet with a 70-degree fall. Luckily it goes by pretty quick since it takes you about 3 seconds to drop all the way to the bottom of the ride but it was still a fun and scary experience for all of us.
